Since my years in medical school research has been an important part of my life.

Currently, my research focuses on the area of neuroimmunology (autoimmune diseases of the brain and nerves)

 

During the training to become a pediatrician, I wrote my doctoral thesis (PhD) on antibody-associated neurological diseases.

 

More than 20 international publications in the areas of

• antibody-associated neurological diseases

• pediatric-onset multiple sclerosis

• brain development

• asphyxia during birth

• epilepsy

 

Regular presentation of scientific data at international conferences

Participation in international guidelines (E.U. MOG consortium)
